It’s a crazy-good month!!

It’s my birthday month, Mardi Gras, Valentine/Galentine’s Day and the relaunch of the limited edition Margarita Soap.  

So I’ve been thinking about what could make my birthday special…and it came to me.  

Why not declutter the bathroom!?

Now you may be saying to yourself WHAT?  

How does that make your birthday special?

Creating a bath haven will make you fall in love again with bathing.

Let me take you on a journey.  

First things, clean out that makeup drawer/medicine cabinet.  

I know you have stuff in there that’s at least 5 years old…and ya ain’t used it yet!  

Guess what, you ain’t gonna use it, girl toss it.

If it doesn’t bring you joy, so much joy that you use it, toss it!

Next, let’s look in that linen closet. 

How many of those washcloths or bath towels are threadbare?  

Do they bring you joy?  

Why not purchase some new ones?  

I did just that…I used to buy linens that matched my bathroom…but this time I bought all PURPLE!  

Purple brings me JOY!

If it doesn’t bring you joy, so much joy that you use it, toss it!

And it doesn’t have to cost you!

Sprucing up your bathroom to create a bath haven doesn’t have to be expensive.

Let’s talk about what you can add…oh, this is the fun part!!!

So, we’ve added new linens, those that bring you joy!  

Let’s add some candles, scented or unscented…it’s all about the ambiance. 

And how about a nice adjustable teak bath tray.  

That way, you can put your book/kindle/ipad on there while you enjoy that Bubbleaux bubble bath.

Oh, and what about one of those cool things that holds your adult beverage while you enjoy that good book/movie.

I also like to add some flowers or greenery to soften things up.

I don’t know about yall, but this is starting to make my bath haven a reality.  

Who knows, I may never come out again…send in the Bubbleaux to the rescue!

FYI:  Don’t stop with just your bathroom. Take 15 minutes a day and work on another drawer/cabinet/closet…and remember…If it doesn’t bring you joy, so much joy that you use it, toss it! 😉
