A Year in Review

So long 2017, hello 2018! Wow, another year has come and gone. This is the time of year I like to sit back and reflect on what I accomplished the previous year. And to be quite honest, there are some years I just shake my head and move on.

But 2017 was different...it all started with my yearly business retreat with other like minded business owners. It became very obvious that I needed to update my current website. So that is what I set out to do.

Ya know, what started as such a “simple” project, turned into a major overhaul of my entire business, and that was going to take a lot of Courage. Courage meant taking that first step and then realizing that it wasn’t going to be just a simple project, and that was scary as hell. I was going to need Courage to create a whole “new” business. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes…the only thing that remained was the name…The Purple Sage.

From that name, The Purple Sage…everything has evolved. There is so much Wisdom gained from the work and the past year. It took Wisdom to work thru this stuff even when it was hard, and yes it was hard. Wisdom to see that all the blood, sweat, tears, cussing and fussing was going to take The Purple Sage into 2018 and beyond.

Looking at what are the best options for shows/markets/festivals for us. I’ve had to take a long hard look at where I can best put myself to connect with you, to share with you. Harmony comes when you find the right fit. It’s like coming home. Be on the lookout for us at some new and exciting events.

I created a completely new product in 2017 called Bubbleaux. It’s a one of kind bubble bath for wise woman. No more stressing over having to clean the tub after a nice long Bubbleaux soak…because it leaves no greasy, oily slippery residue in your tub. Bubbleaux will be your Stress Relief.

I have found Balance in the “knowing” that what I created for you, did not exist. The Purple Sage is alive and well. There is a little Purple Sage in all of us. My heart is in Balance with my work and my life. And that feels awesome.

Looking back, 2017 was a very good year. Lots of personal growth as well as business growth. If you thought you knew The Purple Sage…think again. Look out 2018 we have some exciting things to share with you.
