Do You love a good challenge?

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love a good challenge.

Recently my good friend, Angela of Alegna Soap and I were talking about life and business.

Angela has been doing FaceBook lives for her business since 2020 when the world went to hell in a handbasket.

I did FaceBook Lives for a few months but lost my steam after a while, even though I had gotten pretty comfortable with internet issues (you know there’s always a glitch when doing them.)

When it comes to business…sometimes we have to do the things we don’t LOVE, but it’s good for growth.

So, the other day, Angela challenged me to start doing FaceBook lives again, and to do it for 30 days.

Challenge Accepted!

The good thing is, it’ll be a little easier because I’m not starting from scratch…I have a little experience under my belt.

I’ve discovered (and why I’m accepting this challenge) that 2024 is becoming a year of growth and discovery for me.

Have you ever felt that way?

We all face challenges in life…and/or business.

This is where living boldly comes in.

I’ve learned that owning a business is more about self-growth than learning to run a business.

  • I have to put myself out there, even on days I would rather stay in bed under the covers!
  • I have to constantly step out of that damn comfort zone and make things happen.

And goodness knows, I struggle with it all the time.

Like today for example…It’s gorgeous outside, there’s a nice breeze, it’s a comfortable temp, and there’s no humidity.

And I DON’T want to be inside working.

This is where self-growth skills make a difference…I’ll push myself to get those work things done so I CAN get outside.

I can even compromise…I can take my laptop outside to “work” where I can hear the birds singing, I can listen to the water fountain, and make a mental note to water my garden grow bags.

What does all of this have to do with a challenge?

Everything!

The challenge is…sometimes you have to push through all the “work” to reach your goal(s) and my goal today…getting outside.

What’s the biggest challenge you’ve done?

Getting back to the FaceBook challenge…I’ll be going live for the next 30 days.

And I don’t want to just wing it and talk about “whatever.”  I want to talk about and show you things that you’re interested in!

So my question to you…is there something you would like to see, something you would like to know, something you’d like to learn?

Here’s your opportunity to ask for what you want to see.

I can talk/show you my ducks, my flower and veggie garden.

I can show you things in the studio.

I can make soap, lotion, lip balms…

I have some ideas, but like I mentioned, I’d rather talk about things you’re interested in.

Go ahead and reply by clicking “reply” or send an email…I’m all ears.

  • This NY girl wants to see the drive up daiquiri shack you’ve talked about. Or how about the bayou you’ve canoed on. Take me into the Mardi Gras shop. And I always want to watch you make soap! 😘
